Zero price components

To protect your bundles from selling if a component price is missing, we do not allow bundles to be sold with zero price components. To allow zero price components in the event a component is free you can flag the component as a free component so the bundle can be sold.

Alternative component options

Override component titles

Create bundles with the same components but with different uses, with different overriding titles to describe their use. For example, a racing car could have a front master cylinder for front brakes, a rear master cylinder for rear brakes, and a clutch master cylinder with all master cylinders being the same with a different purpose.

Component based VAT

Create bundles with component products with different VAT rates, calculating the VAT correctly across the bundle. The pushchair, pram module and rain pack are standard rated at 20% VAT, with the car seat child safety rated at 5% VAT with your shop calculating VAT correctly for the bundle.

Decide whether you want to display the bundle components, or hide the bundle components in situations where expertise has been applied to create the bundle, and showing might help visitors use as a shopping list for purchase on other shops.

Explode bundle for ERP order interfacing

Bundles can be imported to ERP as a single bundled SKU where the ERP system contains the bundle, or the bundle can be exploded so the components are sent to ERP in component form like the products had been added to basket individually.

Associated products

Display associated products on product pages to show related products that add value to the main purchase to upsell. For example, you sell suede boots associating a protective shoe spray to help extend the life of the boots as an upsell.

Alternative products

Display alternative products to show the next best option to the main product to upsell. For example, you sell running shoes with Asics GT-1000 being a premium, and Asics Gel-Kayano as super premium. You associate the Asics Keyano with the Asics GT-1000 as an alternative product to present an upsell opportunity.

Accessory products

Display inexpensive but useful items on the basket page, that can be added to the basket with little thought to upsell a basket, like displaying sweets at a checkout.

Free complimentary products

Associate inexpensive free items with a main product to increase the perceived value of a purchase. For example, you sell cycles associating a free multi-tool with bikes to help with maintenance.

Add to basket lightbox

Associate related products that display when items are added to basket. For example, you sell a toy that doesn't come with batteries. You associate the correct batteries for the toy which display when added to basket to provide upsell opportunity.
